AUTOMATIC DISCHARGE CONNECTOR |
|
|
Features:
|
|
|
The discharge connector is to lift up or down a pump at any
unhealthy place, such as in a sewage or septic tank, when
installing or repairing.
The simple structure and easy installation provides convenience
to the operator whenever he needs to pull up or down the pump
from/to such unsanitary place.
Our standard supply of the discharge connector includes automatic
setting bend, guide support, guide hook and chain. While,
the guide rail pipe is excluded.
|
|
Applications:
|
|
The discharge connector, TO, is for pumps, HB,
HBS, HC and HSV-series. |
|
Installation:
|
|
1) |
First, before installation, decide the manhole
position considering proper piping and easy accessibility
of cable. The manhole size must be suitable for the size
of pump. To keep sufficient distance from wall to the
side of pump, the location of manhole must be taken properly. |
2) |
As shown on Fig. 1, decide the installed position of
guide pipe from the edge of manhole. |
3) |
Place the discharge connector at the bottom of pit as
shown on Fig. 2, and fasten it with bolts onto the bottom
and install the guide pipe tightly. |
4) |
Install snap float and set the low level,
about 1 meter, from the bottom and considering the height
of pit, set high lever of floating switch properly. |
5) |
Check the guide pipe whether it is installed
perpendicularly, and discharge bend and horizontal level
of discharge bend as well as anchor bolts and packing
of pipe. Only after confirmation, pull the pump down slowly
along with the guide pipe by using lift. Please do not
pull the electric power cable compulsorily in any case. |
6) |
After checking a successful installation of pump onto
the discharge connector by its own weight, hold the attached
chain to the upper part in pit as shown on Fig. 5, which
is for maintenance whenever necessary. |
7) |
Connect the sensor wire to control panel and power
cable. The end of cable must not be dipped into water
and the connected part of wire or cable must be waterproof,
otherwise, it may cause a leak and motor blown up.
